Building a Monument to First Responders

Flags flown in Afghanistan to have new life in Oak Lawn

Three flags were packaged up weeks ago and sent with care to a base in Afghanistan. Two United States flags and one Oak Lawn flag arrived at the most exciting time in the decade long war on terror. As a new day dawned after the death of Osama Bin Laden, the flags reached their final destination. They are being flown proudly today at our base there.

They will be sent back to your Monumental Team and we will be providing them for raffle and or auction to help build our Monument. They will include certification and documentation of their long journey at this historic time.

Are you interested in obtaining one of these flags? Please email docbury@aol.com for more information.
