Building a Monument to First Responders

WTC Steel to be featured in We the People Children’s Museum Exhibit

Mark your calendars for the Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn’s Stars and Stripes Gala on Saturday, April 21st, 2012.  The proceeds will benefit the We the People Exhibit that they’re building which incorporates WTC steel not used in the Oak Lawn Rotary Club’s 9/11 First Responder Memorial.  Over 70,000 children visit the museum each year and pass by our First Responder Memorial as they leave the parking facility.  We think it’s wonderful that there will be an exhibit inside the Museum that will allow families to continue the conversation inside and talk about helping others and what it means to be an American.  If you haven’t supported this project yet, plan on attending the Gala!  It will help add another fabulous layer to our Patriot Station!
